FC Barcelona (FCB), who are looking for new players to strengthen the squad, have increased their interest in Bayern Munich’s midfielder Joshua Kimmich.
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona set eyes on four midfielders to strengthen their midfield department. Kimmich, Martin Zubimendi, Ruben Neves and Sofyan Amrabat are the names mentioned at Camp Nou.
FCB’s manager Xavi loves Kimmich and considers him a top player, although his signings seem impossible as of now.
According to a Spanish source SPORT, the German is very attracted by Xavi's project and wants to join Barcelona this summer as a PRIORITY. His signing is becoming an increasingly real possibility.
Signing a defensive pivot is a priority for Xavi and Morocco’s Amrabat is the number one candidate for that position.
Paris Saint German’s Lionel Messi and Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte are also in the list for Barcelona.
Messi is eyeing a move from the French team. There have been strong rumours of the world-cup winner joining Barca but according to the club, no contract has been made with Leo’s entourage.
There were rumours of the Argentine signing a “big money” contract with the Saudi club Al-Hilal.
However, Messi’s father Jorge Messi denied all the rumours saying that nothing would be agreed with anyone before the end of the season, a few days ago in an Instagram post.
Last week, Barcelona beat Espanyol 4-2 to win their 27th La Liga title at the RCDE Stadium, also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat.
